Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Convener of the Public Accounts Committee's sub-committee, chaired a meeting to review various audit objections concerning the Ministry of Housing and Works for the period from 2000- to 2019-20.
Addressing the meeting, Tariq Fazal said that it seemed PIDCL was in papers only as no none was there to look into its affairs. PIDCL officials claimed that things have improved largely as they were delivering now. Federal Minister Tariq Fazal complained that SGD funds are not released properly.
Convener of the Public Accounts Committee's sub-committee said that issues of MNAs remain attach with PIDCL.
Meanwhile, Public Accounts Committee's sub-committee told the meeting that over 3000 government houses have been under control of land mafia in Estate Office Karachi. The audit officials were told that 925 houses have been evacuated.

The committee directed NAB to bring the details related to the matter to the central PAC. The central PAC will also bring the details of the recoveries made by NAB, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry instructed the authorities. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said this was first time NAB is working more in the field than in the media.
