Local police arrested a man who tried to crack an automated-teller machine (ATM) in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to sources, police received a phone call on Helpline 15 about the presence of a person at an ATM booth located in Quaidabad, and alarm bells were also ringing aloud.
Soon after receiving the information, a police team rushed to the spot where they found that the accused was trying to take out the currency after crack opening the ATM.
Upon checking, it was found that ATM’s lower gate was open.
