A man allegedly killed his father and two sisters in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi over a long-standing property dispute, the 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

According to police sources, the suspect, identified as Muhammad Ali, first targeted his father, Mahmood Hussain, and sister Shabnam Zahida with a sharp-edged weapon in the Shahzad Town area of Islamabad. Both victims died on the spot due to severe injuries.

Later, he moved to Rawalpindi, where he killed his other sister, Anjum Zahra, slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.

The assailant also critically wounded his nephew during the violent spree, who is currently receiving critical medical care.

Investigators revealed that the suspect had been embroiled in an intense dispute with his father and sisters over the division of family property. This conflict is believed to have been the primary motive behind the killings.

The police have launched a manhunt to apprehend Muhammad Ali, who fled the scene after committing the murders.

They have described the case as one of the most shocking domestic crime incidents in recent memory.
