Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the recent Gallup Survey Business Confidence Index report on confidence of businesses in Pakistan's economic direction.
In a statement, he said the report's finding that business confidence in Pakistan's economy has reached a four-year high is an encouraging sign.
The Prime Minister said the initiatives and reforms introduced by the government have brought transparency in the system and ensured convenience for the business community.
He said digitalization of the FBR and reforms in the energy sector have opened new avenues for business and investment in the country.
The Prime Minister noted with satisfaction that transparency and improvement in economic indicators are results of government's prudent policies.
He said fruits of macroeconomic reforms have started reaching the common man and the government is trying to further improve institutional performance.
Shehbaz Sharif said scope of consultation with the business community is being further expanded as the government continues to facilitate the business community and investors.
