Two young siblings lost their lives after consuming lizard-mixed food, while other members of the family fell ill and were undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in Bhakkar on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to family sources, two young brother and sister passed away in Kaloor Kot after consuming the poisonous food.
Family sources reported that the health of several members became critical Monday night after they ate rice at home. It is suspected that a lizard may have fallen into the meal.
Rescue services provided initial medical first aid to the other affected members at the scene.
As their condition worsened, the two young siblings were rushed to the hospital by rescue teams for medical treatment.
According to hospital management, both young children unfortunately could not survive.
