In order to increase the country’s exports, the federal cabinet, in light of the decision taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), on Tuesday approved a special export package, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that three new export finance subsidy schemes had also been approved for the exporters.
They informed that Rs100 billion had been earmarked for the provision of subsidy to exporters so that soft loans could be provided to them.
Similarly, special concessions will be given to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Besides that, a rebate scheme has also been introduced.
Under the package, there will be a review of export schemes every six months.
