CM Afridi says minus Imran bids are doomed to fail

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that this was the tenth time he was denied meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan as police refused him to enter Adiala Jail to meet Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Talking to media at police checkpoint, KP Chief Minister said he was elected chief minister of a province but despite court’s orders he was not allowed to meet Imran Khan. 

He questioned what sort of message was being given with this gesture. CM Afridi said Imran Khan’s sisters were apolitical but water canon was used to disperse their peaceful protest. 

Afridi said all this was done on the behest of Punjab Chief Minister. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister said Imran Khan and his wife was being kept in jail illegally. He said that Imran Khan was being kept in solitarily confinement. 

He labeled the incumbent federal government and Punjab government as corrupt. He said all of them will be taken to the task when PTI will come into power. He said that during the last three years they were trying to minus Imran Khan. 

CM Afridi said for the last three and a half years, efforts have been made to do it minus Imran Khan, adding that the government was trying to repeat old film over and over again since 1947. He said since April 9, 2022, they have been dealing with a nation that loves the founder. He urged that the government and the powerful to hold talks with them. 

CM Afridi said PTI wanted an independent judiciary and the restoration of democracy. KP CM said Imran Khan has given the authority to negotiate to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and PTI will stand by every decision of Mahmood Khan Achakzai. To a question, CM Afridi said Faiz Hameed was an employee of an institution, if he has been punished in any case, it is their internal matter. CM Afridi said Pakistan was heading towards destruction. He said Imran Khan always talked about the strengthening of Pakistan and its institutions.
