Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday presided over a meeting of the Parliamentary Board of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) to mull over its candidates for the Senate election.
According to sources, the suggestion of nominating Shibli Faraz for a candidate in Senate election was made. The sources said the meeting short-listed the names of Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Dr Sania Nishtar and Dr Zarqa from PTI and Kamil Ali Agha from PML-Q – a coalition partner – as candidates for the Senate vote.
