Farooq Sattar demands abolition of domiciles for admissions in medical colleges

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar on Tuesday demanded to end condition of providing domicile for admission in medical colleges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking with media persons in Karachi, Dr. Farooq Sattar said that only 30 percent students passed in intermediate examinations but students of our community being victimized by using domicile as tool.

He said that around 50 percent seats were awarded to Sindh province while this is basic right of 90 percent students who living in Karachi.

He said that free hand already being given to everyone to use his or her own authority without any reason. He appealed to young generation to stand with MQM to take back their deserved rights.

He urged the government to increase seats according to population of these areas.
