Angelina Jolie is gearing up for another explosive legal clash with Brad Pitt, and insiders claim she is determined to strike one last blow before making a dramatic departure from the United States with their children.

The 50-year-old Maleficent star is now challenging a court order tied to a cache of highly confidential messages in the bitter fight over the former couple’s French vineyard.

A judge had directed Jolie to surrender what has been described as crucial evidence, specifically “unredacted versions” of 22 texts and emails “exchanged between non-attorneys,” within 45 days, according to court documents obtained by the National Enquirer.

Pitt’s legal team pushed aggressively to gain access to the communications, arguing in court filings that Angelina “is abusing the privilege to bury critical documents that got to the heart of the case.”

After the lower court sided with Pitt, Jolie secured a temporary pause from an appeals court judge, halting the order while she prepares to argue that the disputed messages between her business manager and several advisers are protected communications. Pitt’s attorneys have been granted several weeks to respond to her appeal, setting the stage for yet another high stakes courtroom showdown.

The vineyard war traces back to 2022, when the F1 actor filed suit against Jolie for selling her stake in their $500 million French estate, Château Miraval, to a Russian billionaire for $67 million without his knowledge.

The property dispute follows an already bruising eight-year divorce saga that concluded with a settlement in 2024. Under the terms of that agreement, Jolie was required to remain in Los Angeles with their six children, who are reportedly estranged from Pitt, 62.

Now, with twins Knox and Vivienne set to turn 18 in July, Jolie is poised to gain the freedom to leave Hollywood behind. She has already sold her Manhattan apartment and listed her Los Angeles mansion for $24.5 million, while reportedly considering relocating to France, Africa, or Cambodia, where she owns both a home and a wildlife preserve.

An insider framed her appeal and potential departure as a calculated final move, claiming, “It’s her final revenge. Angie wants the last word, and the ultimate payback is to take those kids with her. She probably convinced them the USA is not a good place to live.”
