Iran is fully prepared to defend itself if a war is imposed, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with an international television channel.
Speaking on the current state of relations with the United States, Araqchi emphasised that Iran has always preferred diplomacy and negotiations over conflict.
He noted that while Iran disagrees with the US policies, which he described as arrogant and self-serving, there is no issue with the American people.
Araghchi also highlighted that the US has adopted aggressive policies against Iran, but the Iranian government remains committed to dialogue wherever possible.
He further pointed out the large Iranian diaspora living in the United States, emphasising that Iran seeks peaceful coexistence on a people-to-people level despite political tensions.
