National Assembly has unanimously approved resolution to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The resolution was presented by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
The National Assembly also approved Pakistan Citizenship Amendment Bill, presented by Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
Cannabis Control and Regulatory Authority Amendment Bill, Names and Symbols of Pakistan Prohibition of Unauthorized Use Amendment Bill, National Guard Documents Amendment Bill, Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority Amendment Bill and Senior Citizens of the Capital Area of Islamabad Amendment Bill were also approved in the National Assembly.
Opposition members indicated quorum saying that only 66 members are present in the House while at least 86 members’ presence is necessary for legislation.
