Pakistan Customs impounds narcotics worth Rs10b in two operations

A joint team of Pakistan Customs, the Intelligence Bureau (IB), and other law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) seized narcotics during two different operations in Quetta. The market value of seized narcotics in the international market is Rs 10 billion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The first operation was conducted in Qila Abdullah, in which the joint anti-smuggling squad seized narcotics include 18 kilograms of crystal ice and 92 kilograms of heroin. The market value of narcotics is Rs 6.37 billion.
In the second operation, the Field Enforcement Unit (FEU) seized more than 69 kilograms of crystal ice and 345 kilograms of raw material. The total value of seized narcotics is Rs 10 billion.
Separate cases were registered against the accused, and investigations were underway till the filing of this report.
