Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday arrested four human smugglers during a crackdown against migrant smuggling and visa fraudsters from Lahore and Sheikhpura, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The arrested human smugglers were identified as Arshad Khan, Hamza Jutt, Izhar Pervez, and Sunil Sudrak.
Accused Arshad Khan and Izhar Pervez collected Rs 26,00,000 from citizens by promising them to send them to Cambodia.
Accused Hamza Jutt generated Rs4,00,000 from a citizen and promised him to provide an employment opportunity in Dubai.
Accused Sunil Sudrak collected Rs 11,00,000 from citizens and assured them of employment in the Netherlands.
All the accused miserably failed to fulfil their promises and later disappeared mysteriously.
FIA, after arresting the accused, started an investigation.
