Jamaat-e-Islami Youth Wing organised a cycle rally to record a protest against e-challans in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The cycle rally was held from Cheel Chowk to Malir Halt. Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Munum Zafar also participated in the cycle rally.
A large number of cyclists participated in the cycle race. The participants of the rally will be welcomed by Jamaat-e-Islami Model Town Chairman Zafar Ahmad Khan.
The winning cyclists of the bicycle race will be awarded prizes.
Earlier in December 2025, the Jamaat-i-Islami staged a sit-in near Numaish traffic intersection in protest over growing fatal road accidents involving heavy vehicles and looting of the people in the name of e-challans.
The party also criticised the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government for introducing heavy traffic fines as well as dilapidated infrastructure and violation of citizens’ rights.
Carrying banners and placards, several JI activists gathered on the roadside of the Numaish traffic intersection to stage their protest.
