Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce, Majid Al-Qasabi, has been conferred with Pakistan’s prestigious civil award, the Hilal-e-Pakistan, in recognition of his services to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
The award was presented by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, during a meeting held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
While handing over the honour, Ambassador Farooq reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further deepening Pak-Saudi relations, particularly in the fields of trade and investment.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their resolve to promote economic cooperation and expand investment opportunities for the mutual benefit of the two brotherly nations.
Expressing gratitude, Saudi Commerce Minister Majid Al-Qasabi thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for the honour, calling it a reflection of the strong bonds of friendship and trust between the two countries.
