Three terrorists were killed in a police operation against terrorists in Hasan Khel, a suburban area of Peshawar, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the details, two police officers were injured in the firing by the terrorists. They have been shifted to the hospital for treatment.
The channel reported that during the operation in the Hasankhel area, there was an exchange of heavy fire between police and terrorists.
Yesterday, a Pakistan Army captain was martyred and two terrorists were killed during a fire exchange in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
During the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad, 24, having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom.
“The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” read the statement.
