A meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee was held in Islamabad late on Friday evening.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan chaired the core committee meeting where election on Senate seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa came under discussion.
The meeting will approve a set of instructions for the provincial assembly members ahead of voting in the Senate elections.
Participation in the Lahore convention of the PTI also came under discussion at the meeting.
According to sources, a plan for nationwide protests in line with the instructions of the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan also came under discussion at the meeting.
The PTI leadership is likely to approve the plan for the nationwide protest movement of the party at today’s meeting.
