Three people lost their lives, and nine others were seriously injured when five motorcycles hit with a Mazda loader, which was parked beside the road due to a tyre puncture in Nowshera Virkan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The accident took place in the village of Sunyaranwala of Nowshera Virkan. All the people who were riding on five motorcycles were going to the tomb of Pir Waris Shah in Nowshera Virkan.
All three persons died on the spot, and nine received critical wounds. Eleven men and four women are among the injured persons.
Soon after receiving the report, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital for first-aid and necessary legal proceedings.
