A man and his wife were shot dead and their daughter received serious injuries when armed assailants stormed their house and opened fire on them in their sleep due to an old rivalry in Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in Murad Gopang area of Kot Digi, Khairpur.
Soon after the incident, local police reached the site and shifted the dead bodies of the deceased to local hospital.
The deceased were later identified as Fauzia Gopang and Mir Mohammad Gopang.
Police said that all the accused will be arrested soon. SSP Khairpur took notice of the incident and summoned a detailed report about the incident.
