According to an official announcement, data analyst Hassan Cheema has been succeeded by Usman Hashmi, who will assist the selection committee but will not have voting rights during the team selection.
The PCB has clarified that the role of the data analyst will now be limited to providing analytical support and will not include voting rights in selection decisions.
The national selection committee continues to comprise former cricketers and experts, including Aaqib Javed, Aleem Dar, Asad Shafiq, and Azhar Ali.
These members bring a mix of coaching, umpiring, and playing experience to the panel.
