The effects of the heatwave have reached educational institutions as six girl students affected by the intense heat during exams in Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
These six students fell ill at the examination center of Government Graduate College for Women Shah Rukn-e-Alam.
Rescue 1122 was called in due to the students' condition and were provided immediate medical assistance.
On the instructions of Principal Dr. Zarghona Kanwal, timely facilities were provided to the affected students.
In view of the intense heat, the examination center was shifted to a smart classroom equipped with AC.
Desert coolers, air coolers and fans were arranged in other examination rooms.
