Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that cooperation between the government and the private sector is key to resolving trade-related challenges and ensuring the country's economic growth.
He expressed these views while meeting with a delegation from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) at Zardari House, Islamabad, on Tuesday.
The delegation, led by FPCCI Chairman Atif Ikram, included prominent business leaders and trade representatives.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of the challenges faced by the commercial and industrial sectors in Pakistan.
They discussed various issues impacting the business community, including economic policies, trade regulations, and the difficulties encountered by traders and industrialists.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari assured the delegation that he would play a constructive role in addressing the concerns of the business community.
The discussion also touched upon matters related to the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and various chambers of commerce across the country.
The delegation included key business figures such as Momin Ali Malik, Group Leader of United Business Group, Zaki Ijaz, Vice President of FPCCI, as well as Tariq Mahmood, President of the Oil and Marketing Association, and prominent businessman Malik Suhail.
