Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda recently tied the knot in a traditional ceremony, and the couple’s wedding ensembles have captured the internet’s imagination. Inspired by mythology, heritage, and art, their outfits showcased a perfect blend of tradition, modernity, and intricate craftsmanship.
The wedding festivities, including the Pradhanam and Mehendi ceremonies on February 25, were organised at a luxury hotel on the outskirts of Udaipur, followed by the main wedding on February 26. The celebrations were attended by family, friends, and several Bollywood and Tollywood celebrities, including Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Amala, Ram Charan, Daggubati Venkatesh, Radhika Sarathkumar, Kriti Sanon, Karan Johar, and many more.
For their pre-wedding events, the couple opted for designer Karan Torani’s label, wearing colour-coordinated ethnic ensembles that drew inspiration from mythology and their cultural roots Rashmika from Kodava traditions and Vijay from the Deccan heritage.
Rashmika Mandanna’s look was inspired by Tanjore paintings and Goddess Lakshmi. She wore a light green silk ensemble with a bejewelled corset, draped dhoti skirt, and a Lakshmi-inspired odhna.
The outfit featured intricate kadhai embroidery, colourful tassels, and traditional detailing that made it look like a moving shrine. She completed her look with a multi-string necklace, jhumkis, vibrant bangles, rings, and a half-up, slicked-back hairstyle, keeping her glam minimal yet regal. The designer described the ensemble as “a portrait of a bride radiant, rooted, and arriving like Lakshmi herself.”
Vijay Deverakonda honoured his Deccan roots in a draped veshti paired with a relaxed kurta and an embroidered jacket adorned with traditional Indian temple motifs, including parrots, elephants, and peacocks. His look was completed with a kamarbandh, statement necklace, rings, and mojaris, combining elegance with comfort for the celebrations.
The couple shared glimpses of their pre-wedding events on Instagram, with Rashmika writing, “25.02.26. It was the Pradhanam and Mehendi evening. It was too perfect, but it went off too fast… What a stunning piece you have created!!! @toraniofficial.” Vijay captioned his post, “25.02.26. An evening most fun, lived fully, I wish it had 100 more hours @toraniofficial.”
The wedding ceremony paid tribute to their respective heritages, blending a traditional Telugu Hindu ceremony for Vijay with a Kodava ceremony to honour Rashmika’s roots. Fans have praised the couple’s royal attire, likening them to divine figures from Indian mythology.
Rashmika and Vijay, who starred together in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, had been in a relationship for seven years before publicly confirming it shortly before their wedding. They are set to reunite on-screen for the period drama Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, releasing worldwide on September 11.
Vijay also shared a heartfelt note on their wedding day, revealing how he knew Rashmika was the one: "One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around… So, I made my best friend… my wife. 26.02.2026."
Fans and well-wishers continue to celebrate the couple’s love story, admiring their stunning wedding ensembles and joyous union.
