According to an official notification issued by the registrar, the new schedule will apply not only to the high court but also to subordinate courts across the province, a move aimed at administrative efficiency and resource conservation.
The notice further stated that the urgent cell responsible for filing new cases at the Lahore High Court will operate from Monday to Thursday with 50 percent staff attendance.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the urgent cell will remain functional but with only 10 percent of the staff available to handle essential matters.
Meanwhile, security and sanitation staff will continue performing their duties throughout the week according to their existing schedules to ensure uninterrupted services and maintenance of court premises.
