National Hockey Team players and team management meets Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore and discussed challenges faced by the team members, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
National Hockey Team Coach Khawaja Junaid, PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer and all directors were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Chairman PCB congratulated the team for qualifying for the Hockey World Cup after 8 years.
Mohsin Naqvi praised players for their hard work and excellent performance in World Cup Qualifier Tournament.
PCB chief assured that all facilities will be provided to the players. Khawaja Junaid told PCB chief that Pakistani team performed well in the Pro League despite the difficult situation.
ON the occasion, Naqvi announced to provide jobs to all unemployed hockey players in CDA.
Moreover, PCB will provide treatment to injured hockey players. Mohsin Naqvi said that, “We will provide full support to hockey players regarding fitness and medical issues”.
He said that PCB will continue to cooperate with hockey players as before.
Naqvi said that “the government’s cooperation will always be involved in providing you with maximum facilities”.
The players of the national hockey team thanked Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi for his full support which greatly encouraged the players.
