The Bangladesh cricket team’s upcoming tour of Pakistan remains on track, with no security concerns or reservations raised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), according to sources familiar with the matter.
Despite regional uncertainties and evolving geopolitical dynamics, the BCB has not expressed any apprehensions regarding the tour.
Sources confirmed that the five-match T20 International series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be held as scheduled.
“The Bangladesh Cricket Board is willing to send their team to Pakistan, even amid the changing regional situation,” a source stated.
The T20I series will be played at Faisalabad, with the opening match set to take place on May 25.
The exact location of the remaining matches is yet to be officially confirmed, but will remain within Pakistan.
Bangladesh’s squad is currently on a tour of the United Arab Emirates and is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on May 21, following the conclusion of their UAE fixtures.
