The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Smuggling Circle Karachi arrested two people outside the US Consulate for obtaining USA visas by submitting fake medical and other documents, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the details, the FIA Anti-Human Smuggling Circle arrested both accused on a complaint filed by the US Consulate in Karachi.
The accused were later identified as Mohammad Tausif Khan and Imran Nazir Suleri. According to initial investigation, both arrested accused prepared fake and forged documents for entry in the United States of America on medical grounds. Both accused were in connection with two agents, namely Aqeel and Tabassum Zia.
Initial probing further revealed that an agent, namely Aqeel, paid Rs1 million to accused Tauseef for settlement of all issues and for obtaining a USA visa.
But accused Imran Nazir settled all the issues with an agent, namely Tabassum Zia, on payment of Rs 2.5 million.
As the complaint, the accused wilfully tried to dodge the American Consulate by submitting fake and forged documents.
FIA, after arresting the accused, started an investigation, and strict action will be taken against relevant agents.
