The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a notification regarding the transfers and postings of 98 senior civil judges across Punjab, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
The official notification issued after approval by the Lahore High Court Chief Justice Alia Neelum stated that all transferred judges have been directed to assume charge of their new postings by May 14.
Among the key transfers, Senior Civil Judge (Criminal Division) Lahore Shafqat Abbas Maghiana has been posted to Dera Ghazi Khan as Senior Civil Judge (Criminal Division).
Senior Civil Judge (Family Division) Syed Faheem Ahmed Shah has been transferred from Lahore to Bhakkar as Senior Civil Judge (Criminal Division).
Similarly, Senior Civil Judge (JSC & MOC) Lahore Muzafar Gilani has been posted to Hafizabad as Senior Civil Judge (Civil Division).
From Sargodha, Muhammad Kashif Usman Shabbir has been transferred to Lahore as Senior Civil Judge (Family Division).
Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Jamil has been moved from Faisalabad to Lahore’s Criminal Division.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Shahbaz has been transferred from Hafizabad to Lahore and posted as Senior Civil Judge (JSC & MOC).
The reshuffle is part of routine administrative adjustments within the district judiciary system across the province.
