Condemnations poured from across the world after at least 10 people were martyred and 36 others were wounded in a suicide bombing incident at the district courts in Islamabad’s G-11 area on Tuesday.
The US Embassy in Islamabad said, “The United States stands in solidarity with Pakistan in the struggle against terrorism. Our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in today’s senseless attack. We wish a swift recovery to those injured. We condemn tis attack and all forms of terrorism and remain committed to supporting the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to ensure peace and stability in their nation.”
Chinese Embassy in Pakistan said, “We strongly condemn the suicide blast near Islamabad District Judicial Complex, extend our deepest condolences to the deceased victims, express our sincere sympathies to their families and the injured, and we wish for the early recovery of the injured.
The European Union said in social media post, “We are deeply saddened and appalled by the tragic loss of lives in today’s terrorist attack in Islamabad. The EU unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families and we wish a swift recovery to all those injured.”
The Australian High Commission in Islamabad said, “We stand in solidarity with the people of Pakistan following today’s attack in Islamabad’s G-11. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families, and with all working to keep communities safe.”
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “The State of Qatar strongly condemns and denounces the attacks taking place in Islamabad, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and in the city of Wana, which result in deaths and injuries.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms Qatar’s firm stance rejecting all forms of violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or justification.
“The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar’s sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and the people of Pakistan, and wishes a swift recovery to the injured.”
