The National Assembly Secretariat on Tuesday released the 11-point agenda for the upcoming session, with the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill listed as a key item for approval.

According to official sources, both the government and opposition are set to present their respective constitutional amendments during the session. The opposition has submitted its proposed amendments to the National Assembly Secretariat, which will be presented separately in the form of a distinct list.

However, government sources confirmed that the treasury benches have decided to reject the opposition’s amendments with a two-thirds majority, underscoring the government’s confidence in its parliamentary strength and alignment among coalition partners.

The upcoming session is expected to witness a heated debate as lawmakers deliberate on the proposed constitutional changes. Political observers view the vote on the 27th Amendment as a crucial moment in the government’s ongoing legislative agenda.
