National Immunization Days campaign to be held from October 13 to 16, 2025 by Health Department in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the details, the polio vaccine to be administered door-to-door from October 13 to 15, as the target is set to vaccinate 989,924 children against polio and to reach 722,056 households. Total 1,098,816 vaccine doses has been allocated and 4,731 social mobilization teams will participate in the campaign.
According to the details, 765 area in-charges, 263 fixed teams and 194 transit teams has been appointed, as the campaign arrangements completed in 212 union councils. The training of all 9,016 frontline workers is 100% complete, Moreover, 990 UCMOs/Area in-charges and 55 master trainers are also trained, 97% excellent performance in monitoring and performance quality assessment.
The special focus is on 29 union councils adjacent to Islamabad and also on Twin Cities Coordination and Missed Child Strategy.
