Punjab Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran said on Saturday that a violent group starts protests whenever Pakistan's journey towards progress begins.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, DIG Faisal Kamran said hundreds of police personnel, including officers, were injured in the violent protests.
He said that groups of protesters were vandalizing public and private properties wherever they were going and the state institutions were trying to handle this situation.
He said that violent protests were hitting the ordinary people of Pakistan very hard. He said that several police personnel had gone missing. He said that motorcycles parked outside the Shahdara Police Station were taken away.
