The police of Sukhan Police Station in Malir district of Karachi arrested 14 Afghan nationals for staying illegally in the city.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the police arrested the Afghan nationals following the orders of SSP Malir Tariq Elhi Mastoi.
A spokesperson of the SSP Malir Karachi said a case was registered against the detainees under the Foreign Act and they are being investigated.
The police action came amid the ongoing crackdown on illegal immigrants in Pakistan to curb a new wave of terrorism in different areas of the country.
