Sunjay Kapoor’s mother, Rani Kapoor, has also joined in with his children, leveling serious allegations of forging his will and snatching his property against his widow Priya Sachdev.
Kapoor’s children that he shared with Karisma Kapoor, Samaira and Kayan, had already filed a case against Priya, claiming she forged their father’s will after his death.
The industrialist’s mother Rani has now filed a separate case against her son’s widow, claiming that she has snatched Sunjay's property and left her nothing.
The case is yet to be decided for in the Delhi High Court, where all parties were heard on Wednesday. The children claim that they are fighting to get their rightful share of their father's property. Priya, on the other hand, stands firm on her claim that they have already been taken care of in the will.
In the recent developments, Rani Kapoor has claimed that Priya not only deprived her of her son's property, but now she intends to sell the assets.
Rani Kapoor called Priya’s act as "unholy" as she challenged the allegedly forged will. She argued that assets worth Rs 10,000 crore should have been hers and her rightful share as the Sunjay’s mother should have gone to a trust. She said that everything is gone and she finds herself standing nowhere. “Sachdeva (Priya) comes and everything changes within three months of marriage? My son has left me without a roof today," added Rani.
The lawyer further claimed that Sunjay's assets are being sold.
