Cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq have been declared “ineligible to play domestic cricket”, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to sources, cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq will not be able to participate in the President's Trophy Grade-I.
According to regulations, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq did not undergo fitness tests for their respective departmental teams.
The PCB has made it mandatory for teams to conduct fitness tests and submit reports for first-class cricket participation.
There are no fitness reports for either of the cricketers with their respective departments.
The cricketers are ineligible for domestic cricket due to the failure to take the fitness test and the absence of a corresponding report.
Rizwan is the vice-captain of Sui Northern Gas and was set to lead the team in the first round due to the unavailability of captain Shan Masood.
Sui Northern Gas is scheduled to play its first match against State Bank starting tomorrow.
Imam-ul-Haq is the captain of OGDC; their match against PTV is scheduled to begin tomorrow.
