The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday withdrew the party ticket from the candidate contesting the by-election in the PP-84 constituency and awarded it to another aspirant for the Punjab Assembly seat.
There are reports that Prime Minister Imran Khan took the party candidate Malik Gul Asghar Baghoor into confidence before withdrawing the ticket from him and promised to appoint him the state minister for minerals. A notification in this regard would be issued in the next few days.
The PTI has given the ticket withdrawn from Malik Gul Asghar Baghoor to Ali Hussain.
