Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has advised Sindh government and PPP not to indulge in politics over canals and come to the table as protests will not solve the problem, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Talking to media is Journalists Housing Society in Lahore, Azma Bukhari said if PPP leaders hurl anti Punjab statement it has to face the rebuttal. She said Punjab and Sindh are brothers.
Talking about PTI founder Imran Khan, Azma Bukhari said PTI founder wanted to talk to Establishment for NRO. She said PTI government cannot be given amnesty in May 9 cases. Azma said PTI has done nothing but corruption.
She said federal government and security forces will be able to bring normalcy in Balochistan.
She said Punjab government has provided 36 million grant for provision of water and power in F Block of Journalists Colony.
Azma said Punjab government will continue to support journalists.
Information Minister said all the problems of F-Block have been resolved. Azma Bukhari said Punjab Chief Minister was distributing houses among the poor. With the same vision, Journalist Colony Phase Two will be built. Azma Bukhari said the government will provide the land itself to journalists, only the construction charges will have to be paid by the journalists.
She further said under the Ruda project, journalists will get a state-of-the-art colony. Azma Bukhari said government will provide funds for construction of a bridge on canal road in front of Journalists colony in next annual development programme.
