The three-day celebrations of the Baisakhi festival, a religious festival of Sikh community, have come to an end in Nankana Shahib amid foolproof security arrangements for Indian Sikh pilgrims, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Sikh Yatrees have moved to Farooqabad (Sacha Sauda). The guest pilgrims were sent from Nankana under tight security in special buses. DPO Arsalan Zahid and Deputy Commissioner Tasleem Akhtar Rao see Indian Sikh Yatrees off with good wishes.
Yatrees appreciated the foolproof security arrangements, police cooperation and other facilities provided. Before leaving, the Sikh pilgrims said that “the cooperation and love of the Punjab Police personnel have won their hearts. The hospitality of the Pakistanis is commendable, they will never forget it”.
They were grateful to the government of Pakistan for providing foolproof security and facilities.
