The process of restoration of Iran’s capacity to refine oil is underway, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Iran’s Minister for Petroleum Muhammad Sadiq Azeem said on Sunday it was hoped that Iran’s capacity, which had been destroyed in recent US, Israeli attacks, would be restored 70 per cent to 80 per cent in the next two months.
He informed that some sections of Lavan refinery would start functioning again within the next 10 days.
On the other hand, former Iran’s foreign minister Jawad Zareef has said that the US will have to realize that it cannot impose its conditions on Iran. “Still, it is not too late,” he added.
