A brother and his sister lost their lives after eating a poisonous cake and drinking a milkshake in Faqirwali in district Bahawalnagar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the incident occurred when both the children drank toxic milk. The deceased were identified as Sami, who was four years old, and Fatima was two years old.
The father of the children Usman, said that the health condition of both children deteriorated after drinking toxic milk in the night.
He said that both the children were rushed to the local hospital, but they breathed their last in the hospital.
After the incident, Department of Health, Punjab, and local administration started an investigation.
