One man lost his life, and five others received minor injuries when a bus collided with a Mazda on Motorway M-3 in Sumandri, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The bus was going from Rajanpur to Lahore. Rescue sources said that the dead person was later identified as Mohammad Zubair, who was 26 and a security guard of the bus, and the injured persons are Adnan, 28, Allah Bukhsh, Shahid, and Mohammad Shahid.
Soon after receiving the report, a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured and the dead person to Civil Hospital.
Police said that the driver of the bus escaped from the scene soon after the incident.
