Three people, including a woman, died and one seriously injured when their speedy car hit a parked truck in Karachi while a water tanker claimed another life in the megacity on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The car-truck accident took place near a residential society on the Super Highway.
Police said that the car was destroyed in the accident.
Earlier in the day, a 12-year-old boy Farhan, lost his life when a water tanker crushed him to death.
The incident took place in the Korangi Quarter 100 Bangali Para in Karachi.
After receiving the report, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body of Farhan to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem.
Later, an angry mob tried to torch the water tanker, but a police team reached the scene and took the vehicle into their custody and shifted it to the local police station.
Earlier on December 10, 2025, a water tanker crushed another citizen, a first-year student and the only brother of two sisters, to death near 4-K Chowrangi in Karachi.
According to police, Abid was riding a motorcycle and was on his way to college from home when the water tanker hit and crushed him a few yards away from his house, resulting in his death on the spot.
After the accident, the underage driver of the water tanker managed to escape from the scene while the angry people set the tanker on fire.
