Imran Khan’s sisters’ names cleared in Jinnah House attack case

Police in Lahore have given a clean chit to Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan, the sisters of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, in the Jinnah House attack case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

In a report, submitted to a court by DSP Javed Asif, the investigation officer (IO) on Wednesday, it was said that an investigation into their alleged involvement in the incident had been completed and they were not wanted by the police in this connection.     

Addressing the former prime minister’s sisters, the judge said it was heartening that they had been cleared in the case.

Arrest warrants issued for PTI’s Zartaj Gul

Also on Wednesday, a court in Islamabad issued warrants for the arrest of PTI leader Zartaj Gul for failing to show up in connection with the hearing of the case registered against her at Bhara Kahu police station of the federal capital. 

Judge Mubashar Hassan Chishti said that Zartaj failed to appear in the court despite several reminders.
