The seven-page report on former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s health as well as the facilities being provided to him at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, submitted by PTI lawyer Salman Safdar in the Supreme Court (SC), has revealed that the former prime minister has complained that for three months the jail authorities did not take his eye infection seriously, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Quoting Imran, the report has disclosed that in October 2025, his eyesight was 6/6. “But later it started deteriorating. And everything started to appear murky to me,” the PTI founder said, adding that despite repeatedly informing the jail superintendent, he was not taken to a doctor for the checkup.

The report has informed that despite treatment provided to Imran at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), the eyesight in his right eye has dropped to just 15 per cent.

The report has also mentioned that during Safdar’s meeting, water was oozing from Imran’s eyes.

Furthermore, his teeth have not been checked for the last two years.

On the facilities provided to the former prime minister, the report has said that he has been kept in solitary confinement, and that the television set installed in his room is out of order.

In view of the fact, it has been recommended to the authorities to provide him books, which would create no security issue.

The report has recommended that the former prime minister’s eyesight should be immediately checked.

It has also recommended that his personal physicians Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Asim Yousaf be allowed to see him.

The report has also recommended that the PTI founder should be provided a refrigerator and arrangements should be made to kill mosquitoes and insects in his cell.

It has also been pointed out that Imran’s lawyers are not being allowed to meet him, which has taken away the right to a fair trial from him.

Courts have been requested to intervene and ensure former prime minister’s meetings with his lawyers.

Similarly, authorities have been urged to also arrange his meetings with his family members.
