Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Monday with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiar Saidov, during which both sides reaffirmed the strong and growing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
According to Tahir Hussain Andrabi, spokesperson for the Foreign Office, the two leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in political, economic and cultural ties. The discussion also highlighted the role of high-level leadership exchanges in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The leaders agreed to maintain close contact to follow up on the implementation of ongoing initiatives and to explore new avenues of collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
