Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The precious metal surged by Rs1100 per tola, reaching Rs358,100 in the local market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs941, settling at Rs307,013. In international market gold price jumped $11 and settled at $3356 per ounce. Market analysts suggested that prices may continue to fluctuate in response to international trends. One tola of silver rose by Rs 85 to reach a high of Rs 4,022.
