Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari on Saturday regretted playing politics on Balochistan massacre, saying they were all united against terrorism, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
She expressed these views while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday.
Punjab Information Minister questioned “Why champions of human rights are now silent over the tragic incident in Balochistan?”
Azma Bokhari said that some elements started levelling baseless allegations on the recent terrorist incident in Balochistan.
She said “We have to take effective measures to tackle the menace of terrorism in the country.”
Azma Bokhari said that the Punjab government is providing medicines to the people at their doorsteps.
She strongly rejected baseless propaganda that health cards are being suspended in Punjab.
Azma Bokhari said that treatment on the health cards is also underway at private hospitals.
She said that Punjab government is also providing free medicines to patients in government hospitals.
