The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration arrested three women after offloading them from a Saudi Arabia-bound flight at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the FIA officials, those taken into custody were involved in sending women to Saudi Arabia for sexual exploitation.
All three women namely Muskan daughter of Allah Ditta, Nasreen Nadeem, wife of Muhammad Nadeem, and Sawera, wife of Muhammad Kamran, were found involved in immoral activities, the officials said, adding they were about to leave for Saudi Arabia on Pakistani passports bearing Umrah visas.
One of the women named Muskan told interrogators that her husband used to arrange customers for her from different parts of Sindh for immoral activities.
She informed that later she started working at a massage center in Defence, Karachi where she met with the other two women.
During interrogation, Muskan admitted that she had already spent one month in prison in Defence because she was involved in immoral activities.
The officials informed that WhatsApp record related to prostitution was obtained from the cellphone of another woman named Sawera.
They elaborated that from the cellphone of Nasreen Nadeem, WhatsApp chats with different customers namely Majid, Murtaza, Altaf, Salman (Indian national), Imran, Faisal and Khurram were recovered.
These chats were about arranging girls for these men and making arrangements for their stay as well as transport in Saudi Arabia, the officials explained.
They said that interrogators had found proof of the existence of an organized network of human smugglers.
The officials said that all three women had been shifted to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Karachi for further interrogation.
