Pakistan and Türkiye on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on increasing cooperation in the field of social services and social protection, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The MoU was signed following a meeting between Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Türkiye's Minister for Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktas in Islamabad.
The declaration issued at the end of the meeting said that both had a detailed exchange of views over women’s rights, stability of the family system, and social protection.
Tarar and Mahinur agreed to increase cooperation between the two countries for the protection of women’s and children’s rights.
